How MESH saves you money
Over many years, MESH Network and related medical colleagues have ordered thousands of medical tests for their patients. Because of this volume we have been blessed with steeply discounted rates for the labs that we order for our own patients every day. When a patient's family member asked if they could have access to the same extremely low rates, an idea was born to help others by passing these savings on.
Patients with Insurance
Remember, $$$ MESH wants to save you money $$$, so always check with your insurance company first (if you have one) to see if your provider's ordered labs will be covered and what amount will be paid {MESH often beats even those prices}. For patients with 'high deductible health plans' - labs are not usually paid for through this type of insurance until that high deductible is met. Anybody who has not met their deductible amounts will benefit from MESH's deeply discounted savings. If someone has met their deductible, they don't need MESH because their labs will be paid by insurance.
Self Pay Patients
MESH Network's Lab Broker is especially beneficial to self pay patients. These folks are simply at the mercy of whatever hospitals and laboratories charge for their services. No 'in-network' savings, etc. All too often they are also the folks who are least able to afford what the provider knows they need in their medical evaluation, and they frequently skip the labs because they don't need another steep bill to pay.
MESH Processes
Regardless of what kind of payer group a patient belongs to, the vast majority will save money thru MESH. We make it easy to accomplish as well. Providers decide what tests to order, that information is communicated to MESH via our simple methods outlined on this site, we arrange the lab processes and then communicate the results to you and your provider. Most patients save between 72% - 80% of the standard market rates. MESH provides current 'Good Faith Estimates" of those rates and ours. With MESH you always know exactly what you will be paying.
